Former Broncos RB Travis Henry has signed a plea deal with Florida prosecutors, accepting a charge that carries a mandatory 10 years-to-life in prison, $4 million in fines, and five years of supervised release.
In exchange for having two counts of cocaine distribution dropped, Henry will admit to conspiracy to possess cocaine with intent to distribute. Henry was arrested on the charges in October. He's safe to drop in dynasty leagues.

Not an excuse for his behavior, but if his baby mommas werent so damn greedy he might not have resorted to illegal means for money.

So he took a plea to do 5 years in the box, 5 on supervised release???!! What kind of time was he facing because that doesn't seem like a great plea. DA must have had some really inculpating evidence..

Now I know this nigga couldn't have got a degree from the university of tennessee and I'm pretty sure he didn't do much in the classroom when he was there. This nigga had a pretty good n.f.l. career going and has made millions, now there are people working at mcdonalds living better than this nigga. Nah that shit says 10 mandatory and 5 supervised release.Hes only gonna get out with no type of chance at life and do tha same shit to make money.Justice system is retarded.I'm not trying to excuse him but that shit ain't rehabilitation.Its crazy cause if he had that amount of meth he would have gotten 60 to 90 days. :smh::smh::smh:

He got caught in a sting with 5 kilos and $40,000 cash by the Denver Police Department, then it got turned over to the Feds, so me made out GREAT!!! IMO

You're correct. This nigga....That's why I can't do criminal law, either as a defense attorney or states attorney. The mandatory minimum for each count was 10+!! He was facing three counts, so he hedged his bets and took the one... Decent deal now that I see the totality of the circumstances..

It was on the MIchael Irving radio show. Playmaker was saying this dude needs psychiatric help. It was a big topic that day. HE was syaing that some black men that have been exposed to so much traumatic shit in the "hood" needs counseling and psychiatric evaluation in order to assimilate into white society. He wouldn't have had a chance back in the NFL anyway... This dude really was beggin' for suspension... this shit happened just after he beat a drug test on appeal.... Not his first offense.

He repeats his offenses. both with the having kids, and with the run-ins with the law. Not a lot of sympathy for Travis Henry... but still 10 years for drug charges in this day and age...
