EVERY one??? I don't think so. The masses had ODed on Bennifer by the time it came out, and they had split anyway. No one was interested in seeing more of them. And the film wasn't really "cheesy" enough. It was a bad mix of a tough crime drama and an opposites-attract love story. Lopez was actually quite good as a badass lesbian. Affleck not so much. Pacino was embarrassing.
Sorry, but this isn't "this movie SHOULD HAVE flopped because it sucked, but it didn't". This thread is for "Put millions of dollars in and get pennies in return"
And likely will continue to be. It's virtually impossible to make a $100M film that only earns $4.5M these days. You're basically just throwing it away as a tax write-off.
Its been a long time since ive seen it but I remember it looking more like an 80s Dr. Who episode as opposed to a 100 million budget film. What the fuck was in it that cost that dayum much?!

Eddie made a nice chunk of change on that. Probably $15-$20M. I remember it also went through a lot of production delays and issues that ate up money. Halle Berry was replaced at the last minute. Seems like it was also overstuffed with extras and elaborate sets which probably cost a bit, along with the special effects, lame as they were.
