Didn't know he suffered a stroke.
He was one of the main reasons I watched the College Game Day.
Just checked out the score and I'm shocked. 7-3 in the 2nd qtr.
Yeah, they say it was a minor stroke, but is there really such a thing. He doesn't sound anywhere near as bad as Dick Clarke, but the affect on his speech is definitely noticeable.
That first touchdown was from an interception. Their offense does not look good in this first game...against a team that won 1 game last year. I can't wait to see them start their SEC schedule. It ain't looking good

Yeah, their offense is looking awful. They don't look like they'll stand a chance versus SEC defenses.

Florida will man-up more against TN than it did Miami(Ohio). Before you get to Florida you might need to worry about Oregon next week!

Boise State and Virginia Tech will be the best game of the week. Boise is going to the BCS Championship.
Michigan is going to handle UConn???? Really??? You're a fan so I can't blame you too much, but reality is going to set in very early in this game. Michigan isn't even a top 5 team in it's own conference, but anyone can win on any given Saturday...I guess.

Trust me cuz! Although I'm a fan, I'm a realist. Tennessee is prolly gonna have a 3 yr minimum of a rough rise back to prominence (if they ever get there). With that being said...I don't expect the Vols to win against any ranked team this year or even next year.
HOWEVER, judging off how hard Tennessee played them [UF] last year, and how fragile UF's offense appears to be right now...Our Defense can't be that much worse than it was last year. If Florida struggled like that against weak ass Miami (OH) then I know we got a fighting chance to put up a "W" on the 18th. I mean lets be honest, I don't care who you play, there's no excuse for having 35 total yards going into the 4th Qtr
Keep in mind, last year was a very close game. Florida was spectacular offensively where our offense sucked big time. I don't expect our offense to be much better but as long as the D hadn't depleted much since Berry's absence, I think Tennessee can surpass my expectations. As a matter of fact, I'm gonna see how good they're looking in another hour or two even though it is against UT Martin.

I'm not putting too much stock into these first week cupcake games but damn. Sims as a freshman is 1000% better than Crompton. If we had him last year, we would've no doubt beat the Gators and BAMA. But I'm sort of glad Tennessee didn't win that game against the Roll tide cause I felt BAMA had the best chance to bring another National Title back to the SEC. I like the way the team is playing tonight though.
Can't wait til the 18th
