So came home to see that myDVR recorded the Season 3 premiere last night. Shit came on 10:30 last night. I almost skipped because i thought it was going to be some kind of clip show. Watching that shit right now.

I was mad they killed my girl off late last season, Inbar Lavi - smokin. And the XO was the guy on Independence Day who shot the can off the spaceship, it looks like that dude has not aged 20 years. That guys like 54 years old and doesn't look it at all

They did the season 2 binge drop last night after the Warriors game. Season 3 doesn't start until June 12th

You know what I was upset too.... Until I saw that they added my girl Dottie from Agent Carter on here.

Exactly... But they slipped the premiere in there. They called it a First look but it's the full premiere. Initially I thought it was going to be the typicall clip show recap shit that TNT typically does.

Side note... So far this is shit is tight. I'm liking this new direction.

I'm watching first look right now. Seems like the actual 1st show of new season, confrontation with China over distribution of vaccine in Asia, trip to Vietnam, ....

I hope the writing is better this season. I thought they would make a season out of the taking down Alfrie Woodard's character. When they killed her in the second episode I was like "wtf?" And the Dr. is second only to Sookie Stackhouse in the category of "bitches who put themselves in harms way."

He is stationed in San Diego in the navy and they shot the show there for the first season. He went to a casting call and got on. He did acting in high school and and always wanted to get into Hollywood.

He hasn't done anything since because of duty. He did get three checks from the show and that's all that counts.

Thats cool as hell. I was in the Navy, too. Whats his rate (job). I was an SK (Storekeeper, which is now Logistics Specialist) and got thejob I havenow due to my work in Logistics

Tell him to get the Navy to send him to as many schools as he can get. When he gets out, whenever that is those Schools transfer as both college credit and toward whatever his next career is going to be.

I had a friend who was an Electronics technician. The Navy sent him to 4 schools, and when he got out after only 10 years a job paid him $100,000 a year Midwest Money just off the training he received while in the military

I'm a vet myself so he already got that talk. He joined three years ago as an E1. He got his head on right and his compass orientated due North. The navy is a stepping stone and he is using it wisely.

Thanks. I'm proud of him also. He came a long way. He is actually my sister's son. My wife and myself raised him since he was nine months old. He was born crack addicted in Marysville penitentiary. He stayed on the honor role, acting class, wrestled, ran track and was the captain/starting quarterback for the varsity high school football team. I watched him run for dam near 180 yards one game because the defense shut down the receivers and backs. He also knows more about African world history than most kids his age.

If I died tomorrow I know I gave the world a game changer.

That's your son man. You have surpassed Uncle by 3000 miles. It takes a big man to handle such an immense task. Being born drug-addicted is being born into sin, starting the race at the bottom of the hill and I'm not religious. He's still got to run, and no one going to to cut him any breaks or feel sorry for how he started the race

Being that you are a vet, you are my brother, and since your son is too he is also my brother. Much success to you and him in the future

Again thanks. I raised him to not see limits. He saved my life as well. Although I was married when we got him I was headed no where fast. He calls me superman because even though I walked a rough path I never let that interfere with my obligation to raising him. I call him shark bait because if that ship sinks....

I'm smiling now while writing this. He always had a way of showing me light in dark times.

Just know that he's safer in the Navy then he would be in the army or the Marines. I can't even tell you the last time a ship was sunk, but it's a lot farther away than the last time a soldier has been shot.

It seems you two saved each other. That's real cool

I told my wife the same thing when she tripped about him going into the navy. I told her at least the officers are the ones who go fight in the navy. Unlike the army which I was in. Yeah we saved each other. We talk all the time. Now it's mostly about how he should deal with females. He's coming home on the 12th and I'm cooking a seafood boil for him.

Don't kid yourself. Navy officers don't fight. That's all for TV. The only officers that fight are those who were in the Navy Seals, few and far between the rest of them are a bunch of bitches
