one rebound short of the dubious statistic that A LOT of people overhype:

a TRIPLE DOUBLE...

good job, rook...

p.s. LOL @ voshon lenard... he was scoreless the 1st half, bitched out his teammates at half time, and scored 8 pts already in LESS THAN 4 minutes of the 3rd Q...

More importantly, he bust that ass on ya boi, A.I.
I liked his mental toughness. Took it to the flopking
I know, because we getting NBA League Pass for
free this week and I got to watch the game......

Oh, and btw, did you happen to notice NoGuts
statline???

i did see noguts... not terribly surprised though... you were always more down on him than i was... still waiting for you to do a 180 and trade for van horn too... :D

i'd have to watch him play 1st, but right now his 13 & 9 don't mean much because (i think) they were against steven hunter (samuel dalembert's backup), right?

BTW, did you see the kings get blown by 26 to the hornets? :puke:

i think the kings HAVE TO put kenny thomas and/or brian skinner in the starting lineup eventually... with a front line of the euro shooter, shareef, and brad miller, how can you expect to win on the defensive side of the floor? no toughness, no intensity...

that said, is there still any doubt that the PUSSific division is the worst in basketball?

are the nuggets cursed?

last year, season opener, nuggets lose voshon lenard (starting SG) for the WHOLE season...

tonight, season opener, nuggets lose nene... how long is TBD...

Nene leaves opener with injury

SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Denver Nuggets forward Nene left Tuesday night's season opener against San Antonio in the first quarter with what the team called a sprained right anterior cruciate ligament.

He was not expected to return in the game.
Nene was helped off the floor with about 2 minutes left in the quarter after falling while the Spurs' Tim Duncan stole the ball from him.

Nene was scoreless and had two turnovers in about 2 minutes of play. :puke:

The Nuggets said the Brazilian player, now in his fourth NBA season, will be examined by a team doctor on Wednesday morning in Denver.

Van Homo will NEVER see the light of day on my squad. I may have changed my tune of Boguts,
but I haven't gone completely bonkers!! Just took him
because there were absolutely no centers left, and
everyone seemed to be passing him over. Whenever
I see that, I know something gotta be happening there

As for the Hornets game, that was my favorite one!!!
I stayed tuned into that one and switched back to the
Sixers/Bucks game in commercial. I got a kick outta Byron
Scott playing Speedy and Chris Paul together.....They
made the Kings looks like they were playing in slow motion
Sac on the whole, got no team speed. I said this after
they got run off by L.A., I don't think they are gonna be
very good. Bibby is good, but he's gonna be by himself
and he's not overly fast or quick for a PG. it's gonna be
a long season for him. I think he will probably lead the
league in T's this year.

One question: Why is the Hornets abbreviation NOK??
What does the K stand for?? Oh yeah, The Birdman is
a bum. P.J. gonna get hurt this year, because he's gonna
have to do too much

lol....that's a point.
I hate it though. There was play where he ran into Ford
and he fell down. I swear that cat deserves an Oscar
for some of his performances. When he fell on the padded
bench and acted like it hurt.....nobody to call a foul on with
that play
