It may be a mild winter for many Americans, but some might not know it from their energy bills. On average, Americans have seen their energy bills spike nearly 36% from last winter as home heating prices have reached a 10-year high. Nancy Chen reports.

None of that shit works PG&E raised our bill by 40% to recoup costs from the wild fires. Not sure how this is legal. I fucking hate them. I have a $600 energy bill this month and we keep the heat set to 64
They're tips to help you save..... not how to avoid being raped by your energy supplier... you Cali folks get fucked seven ways till Sunday on everything, no matter what you do :smh:

It's fucking crazy!!! Even my neighbor called and asked if my bill jumped through the roof this year. :smh:

Keep most appliances unplug that you don't use regularly. LED light bulbs and energy efficient appliances help. My gas bill, I'm on the budget plan where you pay the same amount year round.

My shit was ignant high last month. I wanted to go down town and square up with ANYBODY with a Dominion Energy shirt.
Knock on wood.... but my shit hasn't been drastic at all....my house was built in 2002.. I use an electric heater when needed in my master bedroom.... I don't have zoned heating and the thermostats in the hallway..... isn't cost efficient to heat the whole apartment when most of my time is spent in the Master Bedroom..... and again...... knock on wood

Tips for home heating

That shit about that hanging wall heater costing only a nickel an hour to run has to be a load of shit..... that's only $1.20/day, $36.00/month... lol... I don't believe it for a second...... and on the same topic, I don't have zoned heating and spend most of my time in the master bedroom..... I use an oscillating tower heater in there..... makes no sense to turn on the heat and waste money heating the entire floor when I'm in just one room.... :dunno:
