The World Golf Foundation, comprised of major golf organizations around the world, announced last week that a drug policy would begin in 2008. The PGA Tour has yet to disclose the full list of banned substances until it can share it with the players, and commissioner Tim Finchem said details such as how and when to test - as well as penalties - are still being worked out.

drug test during Jack Nicklaus era?..nope

how about Arnold Palmer's era?..nope

lets start drug testing during the dominant era of a nonwhite golfer...coincidence??

:smh::lol::rolleyes:

any excuse to downgrade our obvious dominance.they are wounded by their cultural low self esteems.

So whats going to happen when they have proof that Tiger is just that damn good, ban being built, ban Nikes, this is some dumb bullshit

I wonder what happens if Phil Mickelson is tested positive?

Even in 2007, some of them still cant handle a man of color beating them in anything, especially their precious golf game, that and hockey and baseball are the last games they dominate, unless you count cricket

They dont dominate baseball:rolleyes:

Tiger is all for drug testing since he doesn't need to "roid up" to dominate. It's punk ass bitches on the tour like Rory Sabatini that are scared shitless.

All this scandal-mongering is ruining sports... I heard on the radion this morning that they're saying Shane Mosely was on some clear steriod shit when he beat Oscar de la Fishnet.

Tiger better keep an eye on what he consumes. I won't put it past whitey to spike his food or drinks with something so he gets caught up in a test.

My guess is the reason why this is coming up is because Tiger is about to break Arnold Palmer's PGA record. Dem boys is what's shook because '08 would be the year that would happen. Just in time for testing.

But this is the guy who's worried.
"Remember me bitch?"

Damn just another way to try to stop a brother from making money.....Whats next a credit check for college students trying to get drafted to the pros:smh::smh::smh:

THEY SHOULD TEST FOR ALCOHOLISM
THAT WOULD NARROW THE FIELD.:hmm:

TYPICAL
THEY JUST CANT BELIEVE WE CAN BE THAT GOOD.

Anyone can look at Tiger Woods and tell that he is too square to use steroids. He's probably afraid to smoke weed. Now if all of a sudden he starts looking like Dr Dre.......

my boss is a VERY good golfer and has met tiger twice. he said he was shocked at how big tiger is in real life saying he's NOT a small guy-not at all.

but i knew this was coming and the white folks on espn even said so. about 2 months ago, some guy called in to a talk show and said, "as tiger gets closer to jack's record, i bet they'll start drug testing."

and here we go.

my position: ALL these athletes are on something to help their performance. HGH, roids, amphetamines, or whatever.

All of the speculative and cynical thoughts that we are having about this recent development is what they would want Tiger to think...any cheap trick to get a "psychological" edge on him and possibly his game...dude will do the damn thing though...look at Bonds...white folks just ain't gonna give ya an easy road to the gold...

As far as golfers go, Tiger Woods actually is a pretty big dude. I just assumed he used the same training regimen as base ball players. (the ones that don't use roids.) Look at how big he is in the upper body.

Woods Favors Drug Testing On PGA Tour
Associated Press

AKRON, Ohio, Aug. 25 -- Tiger Woods said he would like to see testing on the PGA Tour for performance-enhancing drugs as soon as possible to make sure golf remains clean.

"I don't know when we could get that implemented," Woods said. "Tomorrow would be fine with me."

Quit being so paranoid.

They already tried that shit by insulting his game in the beginning but Tiger was raised by Earl Woods, his father. He gave Tiger that rock heart he's using to shut those white boys down.

Earl Woods taught that boy to play as well as how to speak the language. So now when they talk to him, they come correct. They don't ask him too many fucked up questions like "how will you spend your prize money?" and "do you think grits go well with scrambled eggs?"

In Tigers wake, not only are records falling left and right but Augusta Nationals, home of the Masters was reshaped making it harder for Tiger to win.

He won in 1997 by 16 strokes if memory serves.

And no one before the restructuring as EVER won there by so many strokes. But it also made it more difficult for whites who played there for years and didn't win, more difficult for them.

Lets face it, Tiger has forever changed the face of that sport. Drug testing is just the natural progression of how racist whites operate under the racism radar.

Bottom line, golf is now making more money than it ever has since Tiger Woods has entered the game. Now they don't dare fuck with Tiger Woods. Big money won't allow it.

I don't remember exactly myself... but I do believe he was low as 21 under during that particular match.....he sluffed off and finished around 16 under.

That was back during the time when Tiger was so sharp... all the other golfers just started competing for second and third place.

Well... actually, that is suspicious.

Maybe you're right. Maybe they are afraid of Tiger winning continuously.

If so, they need to get the fuck over it.

I thought I might be off on the stats but thanks for the assist. I do remember he wrecked the course record that game.
But as far as competing for 2nd, golfers still do that. They come right and say thats what they are doing. "fuck it, I'm just trying to make enough for my car payment and some shoes for my kids." lol.

Actually, I have some history with the Augusta National. I worked there in in 1975 and 1976 in the concession stands. I was there the year Lee Elder the first african american played on the course.

Anyway, I actually had tears in my eyes the year Tiger won his first Masters. I never felt so proud because of the history of Augusta National. As he left the 18th green and hugging both his mother and father, Tiger said... he wanted to give thanks to Charlie Sifford, Lee Elder, Jim Dent and all the others who made this possible for him today. I never felt so touched like that in my life.

Some people view the changes the PGA is making as an affront to Tiger Woods. I view it as something different.... Its called progress... and Tiger Woods has been changin the game in every way since he first became a Pro. Professional Golf will never be the same again.... its going forward thanks to Tiger Woods.

I'm not above testing for cheaters in any sport

but what fucking good would steriods do for golfers?? seriously think about that...

great strength for long drives is only ONE component for golf..if anything ACCURACY is much more important than being able to drive the ball long distances..

and what drug is there that enhances touch and eye/hand coordination..

what good is being able to drive the ball 400 yards if you SLICE it?? All you did was hit it 400 yards in the WRONG DIRECTION adding strokes to your game..

Any whose even played PUTT PUTT golf knows how INCREDIBLY frustrating it can be to just miss the hole a few times and thats just a game..not hundreds of people breathing down your neck with millions of dollars at stake..drugged up golfers would be destroying clubs with roid rage regularly..

And anyone whos even given a cursory look at the sport has never seen any physically great specimens playing (until Tigers era)...no one commented on how good ben hogan or arnold palmers physique was when they played...in fact damn near ALL golfers looked OUT OF SHAPE (pot bellys, love handles, chicken chests) and a few were still able to dominate the sport..that was one of the APPEALS you didn't have to be in shape to be great at it.

Thats why its so suspicious that they would choose NOW to implement some drug testing rules..

ANd of course Tiger would agree with it...even if he DIDN'T agree privately he would HAVE TO publicly if for nothing else but to try to throw off any suspicion on him..

None whatsoever.

....anything to fracture the belief that Tiger is just that much better. Don't drug test....DNA test.....Tiger is a brother not to be denied.

If you remember when Woods first came out, he was a skinny kid out of Stanford.

Woods is much bigger now. Doesn't mean he's juicing though as he's always been dominant in any competition.

But  "too square to use steroids". Naivety at it's finest
