Never knew this was a real song thought it was for the show. Surprised it has not been remade.

My man said one thing left is to give back my ring then go with him. Deuces. He is not trying to fight over her bye move on.

Edit: Nevermind sound like he wasn't smashing right since every girl left him.

I low key thought it was a diss to Peg

Like please if you see another man you like?

Hmm hmmm HIM....

I am an OG, been collecting black music since the 1970s. An I've never heard that song or the artist before.

^^^^

when I heard it back then?

It sounded KINDA familiar

but I remembered that it was such a SPECIFIC genre of music a LOT of music from then sounded alike

but his SPECIFIC voice was so distinctive

I don't think MOST people really knew it though

but funny thing is after I did hear it that ONE TIME?

I NEVER forgot it.

Since I moved to the south I've learned music is sometimes released regionally. An example the late Mel Waiters who was huge in the south but a virutal unknown in the northeast.
