Hip Hop must really be dead when people are trying to play others for breaking/popping, and that's supposed to be one of the four primary elements of Hip Hop.

SAY WORD!!!!!!!!!!!

PEACE TO THE GODS & EARTHS...

ILLSTYLE ROCKERS outta AKRON OHIO... (my crew)
& THE FLOOR LORDS from BOSTON MA

that's why we (blacks in america) ain't got nothing that has deep roots now... asians keep their old shit... euros keep their old shit... hell, even caribbean and latino blacks keep their old shit (till they get to the US). we don't... we're slave to trends, then other cultures pick our innovations up... and capitalize, and we call it played (i.e jazz, true hip-hop, breakin', rock, funk, soul). we shape the fuggin world culture, and too busy throwin shit away to be able to claim it.

i think the world is pissin' me off today :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

Nah the point im making is this. In 1985, being considered a BREAKER was kinda Played out. It was around 1994 when it started re-emeraging. But this time it was in communities that Missed out the FIRST TIME. Once the B-Boy Pioneers found out, then they started getting back into it and bring it back Full Circle into Our Communities...

BUT the fact does remain, BREAKIN and POPIN did die down in 1985. The BackPackers brought it back.
Crazylegs has even admited this in THE FRESHEST KIDS. Its a Documentary all TRUE SCHOOL HIPHOPPERS should watch.
