She looks so sad. Being physically attracted to someone is important. She probably felt loyal to him and did the "right" thing. It's sad. Hopefully he doesn't have PTSD

Yeah she looks miserable :( and that doesn't bode well. If you already married you have to support your mate come what may but that situation is so extreme I don't think anyone could fully anticipate what he/she would do unless one was in that situation.

Sad for them both.
 
Saw this special last year.. They both are in their early 20's and are high school sweet hearts.. As far as loyalty, she is doing what she needs to do to stick by her man and love.. But reality will set in soon. I give her props for trying to make it work, but i would not nor should anyone think she should be obligated to that marriage til death do them part.
 
I just googled them, and none of the articles say he forced her. She opted to stay with him, but I still don't understand why she looks soo sad in the pics. But I applaud her loyalty, too many soldiers get left because of their injuries by significant others..

Yeah its how uncomfortable she looks that stands out, but there may be other photos showing a different side.

Her loyalty and love is to be applauded for sure.
 
She does look really sad in the pictures. . .

It is very loyal of her to stay, but maybe she from the way she looks in the picture, maybe she feels obligated. . .

It's really sad. . . and I'm sure it happens to many couples. I just wonder how many of them actually stay together.

Sad to say but he probably does. . . .
It's probably very hard to deal with something like that.
 
Shit as much as I love my man, I feel like I can't honestly give an answer unless I'm in that situation.... I hope that I would.
 
If that was my wife, I would want her to stay but I would understand if she left. I would probably tell her its ok.​

First of all ... those pics brought tears to me eyes:(I feel so bad for homeboy:smh:I don't think she should be with him if being with him is going to make her feel that awkward ... I mean it's written all over her face ... I'm sure he can see that ... I wonder how it makes HIM feel:smh:

Second of all ... if I have a man in my life ... who can love and respect me the way I want to be loved and respected ... why would I leave him because he had a traumatic experience ... I mean ... it's only his physical appearance and I feel that shouldn't be the deciding factor of wether I'm going to be with him or not .... if he is still the man I loved on the inside ... I hope I can grow to accept the man he's become on the outside ... of course you never know for sure what you will do until you are in that situation yourself ... but I hope I could be the woman to help him heal as opposed to making him feel worse about his apperarance by leaving him:(

i don't know if she is sad about being with him. i think she is sad about the situation


1) she has to deal w/ the adjustment
2) she has to deal w/ him dealing w/ the adjustment and the possible insecurity that comes with it
3) her idea of her wedding day photos is a lil different now
4) the person you LOVE has gone thru a TRAUMATIC situation that will be public for the rest of his life


hmmmm i wonder can he get reconstructive surgery?
