Sowell is an economist not a journalist, and he knows more about how destructive welfare has been to the black community than you ever will.

That clip is from 1980 when black people knew self-esteem was possible and you were expected to have it.

Now lack of pride is a social norm. Imagine that the guy saying blacks are worse-off when completely dependent on whites for their political, economic, and social well-being is the sellout. Not the other way around.

The statement that Sowell is the definition of a sellout explains the death and destruction in the black community now. And explains why its here to stay.
