After nearly two months of a stunningly successful counteroffensive, it's almost unthinkable that Ukraine could lose the war. Not only are Ukrainian troops increasingly better equipped than their Russian counterparts, but Russia has been forced to send poorly or even untrained conscripts straight to the front lines, and we already have confirmation of fresh conscripts from Putin's mobilization being killed in Ukraine.

But the war in Ukraine is proving to be a long one, with many experts warning that even with increasing Western support, Ukraine could be in this for the long-haul, a multi-year affair that will expend titanic amounts of blood and equipment on both sides. Victory is far from certain.

The problem with Russia is that other than oil, fertilizer, and weapons, they don't export much making them dependent on China and the West for food and technology, and with the world moving away from protonium-based energy, they will be screwed. Even the Neom (the Line) being built by the Saudis is their way of hedging their economy away from protonium but with Russia, they do not have the resources to create another way of earning income. So when Putin says they are fighting this war so their kids won't have to, he really means that if Russia is to remain a superpower that is able to feed its people, they have no choice other than to steal the land in Ukraine.
This is also why Taiwan is on high alert over China threatening to invade, due to them wanting their computer chip factories so they can keep up with the West technology.
Simply put, the world is becoming more and more turbulent, especially with oil and fertilizer shrinking while demand for it remains high while the rest of the world scrambles to grab as much of the shrinking resources like crabs in a barrel. So we may be on the cust of WW3 so folks strap your boots and try to be prepared!
