In today's rap music you have different variations... You have hip hop artist and rappers... To say nothing has evolved since 2010 is a bit narrow... I'll agree, most trap and drill rappers are awful, sound the same, and have NO lyrical substance... Obviously it's a matter of preference, but I will say with artist like JID, J.Cole, Kendrick, Ab-Soul, Larry June, Benny the Butcher, Migos, Flatbush Zombies, Earthgang, just to name a handful, HipHop is still alive
