Arnold in Florida: As long as Shaquille O'Neal's team is winning, everything is great. As soon as his team starts losing, he starts talking trash about people. He needs to grow up and stop whining.

Brooks: I hear you, but I bet you won't say that to Diesel's face.

Andre in Canada: I've been patient all season, but it's getting down to the wire and I'm starting to worry that the biggest atrocity in league history is about to take place. Chris Paul is the MVP of the league...no ifs, ands, buts or Bryants! If CP4 doesn't get MVP then I'm personally going to repo all previous MVP awards and write the whole thing off as a farce. CP44MVP! End of story.

Brooks: I'm starting to agree with the whole Paul for MVP theme, but can you at least get his nickname right? It's CP3 not 4, man.

Festar in New Zealand: Can you now give some love to the boys in Philly? They are above .500 and just beat the Celtics. Andre Iguodala deserves to be in the top 10 at the rate he has been going. What more does he have to do?

Brooks: Hey, they are my squad and I couldn't be more proud of what they have accomplished this season. Still, they are only two games above .500. Iggy would have to be putting up LeBron James-type numbers to crack the top 20 with that record, let alone the top 10. And, Andre Miller is the MVP of the Sixers.

Big D in Florida: Ok...I can understand that he is in the Eastern Conference, but why isn't Joe Johnson in the top 20 for the Race to MVP? The Hawks are the NBA's current running joke and haven't made the playoffs since 1999. Joe is leading them to it and gets no love. I bet if it was your beloved LeBron, we would be reading a four-page historic document of the second coming. Give Joe his due, he THE MAN.

Brooks: Are you being serious? Johnson is having a great individual season, posting 21.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game, but Altanta is nine games under .500. And since when did I have nothing but love for LeBron?

Carlos in Argentina: Ok, I think you've never seen basketball in your life. Do you know what players won the gold medal in the Olympics? I can make you remember: SCOLA and GINOBILI. Not one other player in the NBA can say that. If you don't know who are the best players in the league maybe you should ask Carlito Barkley.

Brooks: Thanks for the e-mail but what does the 2004 Olympics have to do with the 2008 MVP race?

Menachem in Washington: Do you think the Washington Wizards will make it to the top?

Brooks: No, not this season.

Kevin in New Jersey: Hey, I know Chris Bosh has been hurt this season, but are you really trying to say you'd rather have Hedo Turkoglu over him?

Brooks: Hedo is having a career season for a team that is in first place in its division. Bosh is having a decent season for a team that is losing ground in the playoff race and has no chance of winning its division. Do yourself a favor and check out Hedo's stats, they may surprise you.

Matt in Denver: I know this isn't really what you write about, but which team in the West (Dallas, Golden State, Denver) do you think is going to miss the playoffs.

Brooks: All three of those teams are pretty equal in talent, but I think when the postseason starts, the Mavericks will be on the outside looking in. They will have a hard time maintaining their current pace with Dirk Nowitzki injured.

G in Australia: Hey MO! I'm an NBA Fanatic. I get in trouble at work for being on NBA.com site too much and at home late at night when I should be sleeping. All my credentials aside, you're giving Kevin Garnett way too much credit. Last year he was with the T-Wolves and they stunk, just like Paul Pierce with the Celtics. If you reversed the roles and Pierce and Allen came to the T-Wolves, then they'd be good too.

Brooks: G, NBA.com is great but I don't know if it's worth losing your job over. I hear what you're saying about KG, but he has changed the entire way of thinking in Boston, anchored one of the top defenses in the league and he is the top player on the league's best team. Give him some props.

Don in United States: Hey Mo, what's going on man? Where's the mailbag? You haven't answered any mail for two straight weeks! Your mailbag is the second best thing on NBA.com (only after your regular R2MVP rankings) so where is it? Come on man, we need it to sustain life. Thanks.

Brooks: Your e-mail inspired me to do one last mailbag. I didn't want to have any deaths on my hands.
