Thinking of starting a Nationwide foreclosure site. Question?

Anybody know where these other sites get their data and pics of the houses? That's a lot of data nationwide. How can I get to this data?

^^^^90% of business ideas have already been done. My intent is to do it better. Fords existed before BMWs playa.

Foreclosure information is public info. Which means its free.

I think a site like RealtyTrac just has local relationships with a researcher or title company that mines the local listings on a regular basis and uploads the data to the their DB.

Don't get foreclosures and sales listing mixed up. I use Trulia a lot and most of the foreclosure listings don't have pictures, only the actual sales listings do. For that, you would probably have to get with the many local listing services (FMLS, MLS) and talk to them about buying access to their data.

good luck..

Good luck with what you are doing or trying to do. RealtyTrac is one source I use to receive info.
