u never had a championship caliber team so its expected..u got a good enuff team..good enuff to sell some tix and merchandise, good enuff to get some wins, good enuff to play in a few primetime games, maybe even good enuff to make da playoffs..but thats it..people always try to make expectations extremely high on a product that was never meant to be.. sometime u got to come to da realization of that.. knick fans and cowboy fans should read dis comment cause for yrs i've been saying dats what their owners have been doin to their sports team..b4 da season started i said dats what da bk nets owner was doin..making money off a product, championship is last on their minds

The Lions are not a bad team(I'm not really feelin' Stafford tho)but this all boils down to the coach and his staff AND the Front Office. Our Front Office has made suspect decisions dating back to the Barry Sanders days. Our GM's haven't really been about shit either...they kept Millen on too long and Mayhew isn't really the answer either.
Just my opinion tho...

I was an 18-year old college freshman in '95. A once proud franchise is a national punchline. I couldn't even watch pregame last night because both ESPN and NFLN kept talking about the Packers game.
