Releases are a purely financial move.
There's no sense in keeping talent around (even at a lower salary) that they don't feel will ever make them money down the road.
WWE will at times send some of their main roster talent down to NXT to get more air time and perhaps improve their work.
I know they've done it with Theory/Waller, Mandy Rose, Natalya, and others.

I still think you could have added Braun stroman to Paul Heymans group..even with Bronson reed coming back. Call them the power cosmic ot something. Keep stroman healthy and let him be like the last line of defense. This could lead you to bring in Oba Femi to "stop the madness".

The story is most likely bullshit but Vince McMahon is clearly batshit crazy so I could see him trying to get that company back just off of ego even if it means losing money.

However, that company has grown since he sold it and it merged with all of TKO's other entertainment companies so I doubt Vince could get that amount of money together especially considering how old he is.

I don't believe the story.....but Vince has good relationships with the Saudi's and is Chumps friend....I can see the Saudi's helping Vince purchase WWE back from TKO. I don't think it will happen but Vince is a businessman and has the connections....the scenario wouldn't surprise me if it happened.
