I'm sure Joe Hendry would disagree with you. A wrestler not signed to WWE was on WrestleMania with 14 time champion Randy Orton. Hendry was in the Royal Rumble & WrestleMania before Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay, Okada, The Young Bucks & Moose. It would have never happened without the collab with the WWE.

Dolph, The Hardy's, Top Dolla, Dana Brooke, Elias, Eric Young, Indi, Zia, Rhea's dude, Ali. Why would WWE, have another company compete with Raw or Smackdown with a roster full of people they no longer wanted in their company?
Hendry has disagreed with my views, in several interviews. If I was Hendry, or any TNA employee I too would be excited to be in WWE events . They paid to follow the company vision.
I'm not a TNA employee. I am a fan. A TNA fan. Hendry's squash match with Orton was pitiful. Losing the World Championship to a developmental guy is weak. As a fan I used to view TNA to be near (not equal) to the level of WWE, NJPW and AEW. Today TNA is seen far below the WWE developmental programs. I'm not excited. I'm disappointed . This stunt made me wanna watch TNA less.

Because you're overvauling TNA. AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle, ain't coming thru that door. Them times is over.

Raw
Smackdown
NXT
AEW
Everybody else (TNA, ROH, NWA)

TNA is a mid wrestling company. The WWE would only ever cross promotion with a company that they have no fear of competition with.

You gotta get out of your feelings as a fan and look at the BUSINESS side of this partnership between WWE and TNA.
The partnership is putting more eyes on the TNA product and making them more money, period.
It's not about "who won the match" and "which promotion looks stronger".
People are talking about TNA now on a level not seen in like 20 years.

Agreed.

Also, I find it hard to believe that TKO (who own the WWE) doesn't also have some financial stake in TNA or the company that owns it.

Otherwise I don't see the upside for WWE since they already have NXT.

TKO may or may not have any financial stake in TNA, but the upside for WWE is having another promotion where their talent can go, especially those in developmental.
NXT is starting to become crowded and there's not enough TV time to get everyone on the show. TNA is another show for those people.
WWE also lost an anti-trust suit against MLW recently so this partnership will hopefully also prevent any future anti-trust lawsuits and accusations of WWE running a monopoly.

Never thought of that.

Also, I wasn't aware of the antitrust lawsuit.

Damn, NXT with 2 title changes on TV, didn't see that coming...especially that last one...

I don't watch NXT but I expected Stephanie Vaquer to lose since she's obviously going to be moving up to either Raw or Smackdown.

Roxanne Perez as well. They've been pushing them too hard.

Same with Joe Hendry. I don't know how it's going to work since he's signed to TNA but I expect him to get a similar push on one of those shows.

Before they do that, they usually put the title on the person that's been being groomed to be the next top star, Jayce Jane ain't that....Steph may get a second run before she goes up...

Roxanne is already on Raw

Some people will say, "Oh, she's just a transitional champion", cause no way she's holding the belt for that long. Just like The Miz when he beat Drew for his 2nd reign and lost it right away to Bobby. Fuck that. They champs and history will always say so.

Even Braun when he won the belt in the Thumderdome era. Who gives a shit where you won it. He still got the top belt in the top company of his profession.

At the end of the day, holding the title and getting a few matches in as a champs gives you the reps you need with enhancing your presentation. And Jacy winning a title after being there as long as she has, and a part of some of the better segments is deserved. Everybody's trajectory was change once Stephani, Giulia, and Jordan came in and them preparing to move from USA to CW. A lot of shit happened in the last two years. Fallon was more of a transition champion, but it seems like it's their role.
