Damn White Sox, swept by the Angels, lost five in a row and only 9 and 12 in Sept. the only consolation is the Tigers don't seem to want to win the central either.

I think the problem with the Sox is the back end of the pitching staff....they wasted alot of years on dudes like Gavin Floyd and John Danks

I agree about the pitching but the main problem right now is they just aren't hitting. This is the 2nd major slump they've been in this year because of lack of hitting. I don't believe this shit, been in 1st place for 95% of the season and going to blow it at the end.

To be honest I expected nothing less from Adam Dunn. For all his HRs you can't rely on his 205 bat
Rios is pretty much consistent, the one who is pulling up short is Konerko. They were talking him up as an MVP candidate in May

My Tigers want to win now and the Indians seem to be doing to you guys what they did to us:yes:
Im not ready to concede yet but with the Tigers already winning earlier it's looks like a must win for the Sox tonight. I'll be at the game Saturday.

No hatched chickens to count just yet. Statistically, this 2012 year every single one of the AL Central Division teams have a losing record on the road. In contrast, at least two of the top teams of every other MLB division have winning road records. Tampa Bay being one of them in a quiet 3rd place.

It's premature to say the Sox are finished with the Tigers having their last six games on the road. Sadly, we literally look like a completely different ball club when playing away from Comerica Park even with lesser-performing teams.:smh:

No ill will towards the Sox but at least you play the Rays at home. And if you all managed to sweep their division leading NY Yankees while deep inside the Bronx, I don't see why you all can't beat their 3rd place division Tampa Bay Rays at home in USCF.

Realistically, this looks like this is going right down to the wire.
