I remember as a kid I wanted Bruce Lee to beat Chuck Norris ass..Isn't there a back story to this scene? I forgot.
Bruce and Chuck were friends and he asked Chuck to play in the movie.
Chuck didn't really like that he had to lose in the movie.....
FYI - Chuck was a professional multi-title & multi-year winning world champion martial arts fighter
I think he kicks Bruce's ass in real life. Bruce never fought professionally or in any tournaments
Kinda like Rocky fighting Mike Tyson imo.

Again, we have nothing to measure Bruce by, nothing at all.
Friends or no friends..championship winner or not..Chuck ain't neeeeever fuckin wit Bruce Lee other than how long one lived vs the other.Dont ever get that twisted.
Chuck daddy was half yeti tho.....Bruce was like just WAIT till Hong Kong see me fight this hair ass muhfucka..

Too many quick cuts and Shakey cam to make up for bad fight choreography. It's literally nauseating. It's a shame how many modern cinematographer and editors cannot film a fight scene this well.
I've seen this movie before....but I want to know how is the hell did Chuck Norris even get a chance to be next to a Bruce Lee?this here fight is his best acting ever cause he's a terrible actor, how did he slip threw the crack.
Maybe I wasn't born early enough but Chuck just isn't what I think about when I think of bad ass white dude,my father says Charles Bronson was it.
talking shit....
Actually, Lee wanted Joe Lewis for the role. Lewis was a heavyweight karate champion who turned down the part because he thought losing to such a small man was ridiculous.Chuck and Bruce were good friends and Bruce wanted him in the flick. Remember, he also put Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in "Game of Death". Also, in Enter the Dragon, the guy with the scar over his eye was I think karate fighter Bob Wall and the guy he tricked into getting off the boat at the beginning was another pro karate guy, but I forget his name.
Chuck had skills....
.
Yeah man I could never see Chuck beating Bruce Lee but we will never know.
