Lloyd Carr can't beat a coach that see the Ohio State Michigan game as more than just a game. John Cooper was a good coach, but he couldn't beat Michigan. He approached Michigan as he approached every other game...like it is any other game. Ohio State vs. Michigan has NEVER been just another game. The longest and best rivalry in sports can never be seen as just another game. Families are split. Friendships are strained. Because of Ohio State vs. Michigan. Forget the Yankees and Boston; forget The Eagles vs. Dallas; Dallas vs. Green Bay; hell forget Pittsburgh vs. the Browns, THe Ohio State vs. Michigan rivalry trumps them all.

Tressell understands the rivaly and has won 6 of his 7 games against Michigan. He won over the crowd when he signed on to be Ohio State's new football coach when he said, "In 314 days...we are going to BEAT MICHIGAN!"

GO BUCKEYES! YOU BEAT MICHIGAN AGAIN!!! Lloyd Carr beat up on Cooper, but when he met a real coach he buckled.

y'all TALK a serious game up there, but in the south, spurrier, saban, meyer, miles, etc. would have PUNCHED it in the end zone again.

when SEC teams talk rivalry, it's a real fucking rivalry... not a "let's play fair" contest.

florida respected osu in that game.

if florida would've been up on lsu by that score, they would have KEPT scoring. trust me.

note the florida vs osu score from last year. that game wasn't as close as the 41-14 score... it would've been a LOT worse if meyer hadn't called off them gators.
