THE NEVERS (Series) HBO (2021) Sci-Fi Action Show (Trailer 2)

Hate Joss all they want

Even in this mess?

Look at that writing...

Everything connected from the 1st episode.

You can hate him i get it.

But you can't have podcast etc and act like he never existed..

He created wrote directed this

Asshole or not

You gotta give him his due.

Yeah I had recorded the last episode and as I'm watching it start I'm like okay so this some kind of back story here as it went on I kept pressing info to make sure I recorded the right show.... I'm enjoying what was going on but was trying to keep track of all the new elements in that time period. I did appreciate how they did the whole connections of things... I like the show....

Told y'all that always how Joss does it

He needs like 4 to 6 episodes to figure out the world..

Then BOOM.

like I said he tied in every single series he ever did in one show.

Very very interesting interview well worth the read
"The most fun I had on set was the collaboration and also knowing, and always remembering, who exactly we're making this for. We never lost sight of the fact that this was supposed to be a mind fuck, pardon my French, for the audience. And everyone delighted in that, to collude and to have fun," she said.

Mission accomplished, for real.

I watched the pilot episode last night.

It looks interesting.

If you have not seen it, it is a slow burn starting with character and story introduction and development.

For you cats who hate women and hate women in a lead role of a film project, this series might not interest you so don't bother watching.

There is a important scene 15 minutes into the pilot episode that you would approve of regarding you not liking women in context with the show.

The lead actress sparks my interest. I'am a sucker for brunettes and she somewhat resembles actress Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones/Netflix).

I suspect this is show that is better watched by binging multiple episodes or all episodes at once. I will try it later this year after catching up on other shows.

i binged watched it last nite
and if you watch it like that it is a decent show
the finale is explains a lot an leaves some questions
@playahaitian did you understand about the aliens
who killed the people o the research station??

So this is what I got

the two factions are at war on a ravaged future earth

A seemingly benevolent alien race arrive to help rebuild the Earth

one side WANTED the much needed help from the aliens

the other HATED the aliens thought they were up to a grander nefarious scheme

So the murdered scientists we saw hanging in that shaft

we are led to believe were killed by the Alien Hating faction to TORTURE the alien

Man...

I finally got to watch this show these past few days.
And I was riveted.
I've always been fascinated with the whole Victorian/SteamPunk genre that's incorporated into Sci-Fi nowadays.
With its H.G. Wells and Jules Verne ideals.
And love the manner of dress during that period.

I also love that it acknowledges the Black presence in Britain during that time period.
Something that's rarely seen in TV/Film that deal with that era.

I'm so in FUCKIN' LOVE with Laura Donnelly.
And her "twist" reveal in the final episode was down expertly.

And any time Claudia Black shows up in anything...

HBO Max’s Abandoned TV Shows Adopted by Tubi and Roku
By Savannah Salazar

If you were looking to finish your late Westworld binge, you can finally exhale because it looks like that marquee HBO title (and the rest of HBO Max’s axed shows) have found a new home. As we previously reported, Warner Bros. Discovery is licensing a majority of its shows that were canceled or removed from Max last year to FAST channels. The company announced today that those platforms would include Tubi and the Roku Channel. Starting February 1, Tubi will be the first free streamer to feature the cut shows, housing more than 225 titles with ads and introducing 14 Warner Bros. channels — from WB TV Series, Reality, and Family to ones like WB TV Sweet Escapes and WB TV Keeping It Real — to play the shows on. More than 90 Warner Bros. films will also be made available. The Roku Channel plans to launch the same axed WBD offerings in spring 2023, right before HBO Max and Discovery+ are set to make their merger official.

Here’s a few of the shows coming to Tubi and the Roku Channel:

Westworld
Raised by Wolves
Legendary
FBoy Island
The Nevers
Finding Magic Mike
The Time Traveler’s Wife
Head of the Class
