I got home last night and started the new season this morning at home. Finished it this afternoon.
Again, like season one, I’m unfamiliar with the video game and whatever other content is out there. So I’m watching it for what is and have no clue if it follows the source material.
The season immediately picks up from the events at the end of season one. Then immediately jumps forward 5 years to 2029.
New characters and factions are introduced. The season moves away from Jackson Hole, WY. to Seattle, WA. A new type of infected is introduced and new revelation is discovered on the transmission of the virus.
A somewhat unexpected plot twist with Joel happens.
The season leaves off looking like it will continue in Seattle following Abby.
Looking forward to it.

I wonder why the city never invested in that area??
Plenty of open drug usage & addiction.
I don't miss working in the area (just over 20 years ago). Things were too unpredictable / unsafe.
The general consensus is that way more needs to be done, but at this point it just seems like things are out of reach with thousands of people caught up.
That said - credit to the organizations doing their part to help. Lookout Society, Union Gospel Mission, Venture, and many more. It's honest, hard work & people are doing their best to help make a difference ...

MAN I am gonna have to replay the TLOA II again, because I forgot some elements of the game
in comparison towards the tv series.
I finished episode 7 and even I said wait a minute I forgot this shyt.
I played the game 5 years ago, so some parts i had to remember.

Opinion: The people of the Downtown Eastside don't need saving. They need their government to finally do its job
This is a policy failure. My challenge to government: Create a single, accountable body with real power, clear metrics and fixed timelines
