This blog is all about large labia, and mostly to do with large labia minora. This is a body-positive blog that aims to show that large labia are normal and beautiful. It provides support for those who feel insecure, self-conscious, victimised or vilified about their large labia.
I’m Emma. I’m an ordinary Australian girl with mixed Euro and Italian heritage. I have medium-large labia minora. They are asymmetrical with one longer than the other. One is smooth. One is a bit wrinkly and ruffly. One is thinner, the other being thicker. They are different shapes, and generally darker than my olive skin. I love my labia.
But some people with labia don’t love theirs. Many see unrealistic images and listen to misguided opinions and think their labia should be neat, small, symmetrical, pink and invisible to be “normal”. This blog is all about fighting that view, by showing how perfectly normal, diverse and beautiful labia are through the sharing of non-sexual photos, stories, problems and experiences.
The Large Labia Project is inclusive, and all people with labia are welcome, regardless race, age, sexual preference or gender.
Submissions are encouraged, but photos showing nudity are only allowed from people 18+ please. I’ve been brave and decided to show my labia, so I know how challenging, and also empowering, cathartic and liberating it can be. If you’d like to submit your photos, stories, experiences and your feelings about your labia too then you can be proud, knowing your contribution is helping other people with labia feel accepted and normal.
