The Food Feeder : McRib IS BACK!?! - Food Feeder
Okay, it's in Malaysia. and it's made of chicken, but it's back? Noah has found out that it's time for the McRib to return in Malaysia, except the pork is chicken. It's not a big surprise that the "ribs" are just made out of ground up chicken since the US version also has no rib meat in it. Don't worry US - The Blitz Box is here for you! Just drive to Kansas City. Subscribe: http://goo.gl/Z7lbS<iframe width="960" height="720" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/5hY5O2mFHSQ?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

The return of the McRib is one of those things that's almost become a national pastime, which we here at Tasted.com don't totally understand since we only get excited when the promise of ribs leads to eating... well, ribs. The McRib, made of ground up pork meat and made into a semi-rib like patty, is really just a pork burger and in Malaysia, it's a chicken burger. Due to the high Muslim population and the fact that pork is not halal, chicken makes more sense. (Why they aren't proportional to chicken ribs, we're not sure. Maybe they have giant chicken in Malaysia?). In lieu of you not getting your McRibs in the US, Burger King has come out with a FauxRib of it's own. Give it a shot and let us know what you think! In the meantime, in Kansas City Mcdonald's is trying out a "Blitz Box." This "Family Meal" (which will most likely and most often be ordered by individuals), is available for $14.99 and comes with two quarter pounders, two fries, and 20 chicken McNuggets. Burger chains haven't really been "family restaurants" in the past, but I guess they're trying to change their image from their traditional Vegas-like vice-a-licious locale.
