The filming of The Fugitive (1993) was a complete clusterfuck. Harrison Ford tore his ACL the 1st week. 70% of the Marshal's team dialogue was improv

To find out that Harrison Ford hobbled through the entire movie with a torn ACL he got in the very beginning is crazy.

Worse yet, the movie had no ending when they started filming. They actually filmed the movie just about the way we see it because they needed time to complete the script or at least do what they could to finish the movie

But for a movie to turn out so good and so rewatchable it's kind of unbelievable that the entire filming of the movie was chaos, incomplete screenplay, unscripted yet hilarious dialogue made up by the characters on the Fly.

Most movies that are this fucked end up looking like it, but this movie is a classic. I wonder how many other movies were classic but were filmed this haphazardly

This movie made me want to be a US Marshal. I went to the Fed Court House and talked with a marshal for about 30 mins that same week. He told me that 95% of marshal duty is boring and nothing like the movie. That ended that career path right there.

I could have sworn I read somewhere that this movie was somewhat centered on a real life case as well.

I've seen it cause it comes on atleast twice a week but I would of never knew about behind the scenes or guest it but maybe that's what made it a decent flick.
