Nah.. He isn't. Smart as hell but far too often he follows up thoughtful and insightful commentary with patently idiotic bullshit.
He's also never been even handed in his criticism of political thought and practices of the left and right.

Gotcha. Well he came.to those views from.being a Marxist first. Then, through study of economics, observing culture and ethnicity globally , and a strong background in history, I think he contributed some valuable information. The endpoint he comes to is his own interpretation, but anyone else can come to whatever conclusion they want. Just like anyone else, he can be critiqued I'm sure.
