I personally don't watch as much professional football because it simply doesn't interest me that much. The rule changes have allowed the refs to dictate the outcome of games. America likes violence, and if for no other reason, football isn't going anywhere soon. That's just my opinion.

On the MTP show....they said it's been declining since 2014..... also in part because of the high lighting of player brain injuries .... haven't found a separate vid for it yet....but the segment was in the last 15 minutes of the show !!!

That means the few Black protesters who decided to do something even the players didn't do , and the few CAC alt right protestors - the percentage of them who actually had the resolve to stay away like they said--- were all down for the same cause last night. Congrats lol.
 
I’m honestly sick of the word “Gronk”. Yeah he’s a dominant player but the amount of pole jocking of him during any NE broadcast is nauseating.
 
Kap or not football is like its fans dying out everyday. Its a sport that causes more trouble long term via injuries and poor quality of life for its players.

Exactly. But it's still got a good 20-30 years of American supremacy left and while it's a source of income for mostly black players, doesn't make sense that so called pro blacks wanna destroy it lol. Meanwhile Atlanta is bidding for next year again lol

I don't care how far viewer percentage points drop. Remember this, "as long as there's millions to be made by the players and coaches there will be football. "As long as there's millions to be made by the owners there will be football. Lastly as long as there's billions to be made by the league, there will be football." End of story!

People don't want to hear it, but commercials are killing football. I cut the cord in 2010. Only time I have to deal with commercials is while watching sports. We have more and more people who don't watch fucking commercials. Shit is brutal. I'm used to 22 minutes(for 30 minutes) or 42 minutes(for an hour) for shows. NFL games are the worst. Fuck that shit. :smh:

There's not much game action, too many replays, and too many fucking commercials for the attention span of more and more people of today. More and more people rather just watch highlights. It's how I started to treat the NBA season.

I think you're off your rocker lol. Football fans watch the game, but casuals like me and millions of others ONLY tune in for the commercials and the halftime shows. This year, I'm told , is the first actual GOOD GAME in years. People talked about Tiffany Haddish and Cardi B getting their shots at commercials all night.


Sidenote :Funny how Cardi also gets credit for not performing at the halftime show until Kaep plays (even though no one asked her to) , but she had no problem taking the money to be in the covered Superbowl commercials tho. Slacktivists strike again
 
Pats fatigue, Mofos not even knowing what a catch is or is not, inconsistent refs, if you put a good lick on a player and it's not helmet to helmet they will call a penalty when football is a brutal/ barbaric sport.

LMAO. Obviously, fans aren't tuning in since the ratings are dropping. Commercials were leaked, and straight men ain't tuning in to watch Justin Timberlake. Nowadays, people showing up for free party food and beer more than anything else.
 
Still 110 million people watched the shit. For everyone boycotting whether it was because people kneeled or because Kap not in the league......I expected more.

i enjoy the chess match of an nfl game and the game length does not bother me. and its only a 16 game season.

82 games for a season is fucking ridiculous though. i don't watch nba until after march madness.

and baseball is even worse and i like watching baseball too.

Yeah but you said it was BECAUSE of commercials. Commercials are what made the ratings higher than they're were when it was just a game. The amount of viewers coming in for that - I think is WAY less than any amount of people leaving because of em. Id go so far as to say that if you cut back on the commercials and halftime show, they'd lose their shirt.
