the BEST steroid documentary - WATCH IT!

I HIGHLY recommend this documentary: BIGGER, STRONGER, FASTER

by all outward marketing appearances, this film looks like it's going to be a smear campaign against steroids.

in fact, it is EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE.

scratch that. the opposite would be an unabashed endorsement and pro-steroids propaganda. this one presents a moderately fair and even-handed examination.

the film is not without it's logical flaws, while at the same time posing some valid questions, and drawing attention to some serious points.

watch it, the narrator has 2 brothers, both of which use steroids regularly. the film tells shows EXACTLY how they do it. he also took a trip during one of his interviews and purchased some with one of his interviewees.

aside from the steroids issues, the filmmakers presented some HUGE allegations regarding the USA's participation during the 1988 olympics. some of the claims were backed up with documented evidence, but i would've liked a little deeper digging on that segment.

if you get the DVD, be sure to watch the special features/deleted scenes on olympic testing and also bodybuilding.

excellent stuff.
