So the warranty has run out and you no longer have to go to the expensive ass dealer to get ya shit tuned up. Plus you don't have the "homeboy" hookup at the local garage down the street. So what are some good reputable places to get your car serviced?

find somebody in your area that does that shit on the side.dont go to a shop,99% of them are crooks.

You just gotta ask around find out hourly rate of the dealer and whoever you use needs to be at least 25% less than the dealer. I have a shop here in ohio the cat has a trans am ram air 600hp i let him fix my 70 monte carlo when i got stuff i cant do. Only 65 and hour.

I got a chevy! And they have got to have the worst service center in the business. Please if any of ya'll been to a chevy dealer to get thur car serviced let me know your experience. This dude had the nerve to say im getting some kinda money out of you. The car was under warranty!

I have a place for you to go, Go to sears buy some tools and you know that thing the internet used it you black people need to keep your money you can all do most of that shit yourself the last time i went to an garage was to change my engine because my cousin was in Jamaica. DO IT YOUR SELF MAN

get in good with the mechanic at your dealer while your warrenty is good. then when you need something other than a basic oil lube and filter you can ask him/her if they do side work most of them do. You toss them the money and you get genuine parts and a master service tech for you vehicle at low rates. i worked for a dealership one summer in college there were atleast 3 or the techs that did side jobs right in the dealerships garages on their days off.

Can't say it better myself...I did the same thing. I went to Sears bought about $75 worth of tools and a repair manual from the book store for my car and kept it movin'...

some stuff you just won't want to tackle but, changing brake pads and rotors, changing oil you can do yourself...after you read the instructions in the repair manual you'll see how "easy" alot of these repairs really are...don't be afraid of getting dirty...cause you will...
