Had a hand-built model on a mantel in my bedroom as a kid.
The week of November 1 - 8th, I flew eight times. I wasn’t a fan of flying, but now my job requires it. lol
Damn. I use to fly alot, nowhere close to the amount you are. I always hated the fact my life was in someone else's hands, thousands of feet in the air, in a metal tube...... oh and that free fall feeling when the plane drops altitude.
I don't like the free falling feeling either, that's why I avoid regional jets. I can feel every maneuver they make.
Yeah, I’m in aviation meteorology now. So I’m deeply connected with a lot of the logistics.
One time we hit severe turbulence when we were descending and the plan dropped several hundred feet and the pilot had to pull up. And this was at the very end of a 12 hour flight. Scared the shit out of me.
