As usual it's the same old Oscar bullslhit. There are 19 white actors and actresses; 1 Hispanic; and only 1 Black person up for the major acting categories, i.e., best and supporting, to which I say fuck the Oscars and those who do the nominating. No offense to the OP but most of us could give less than a fuck about the racist Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and their bullshit awards. :hmm:

What offends me most are the many black performers who'll be there skinnin' and grinnin' irrespective of the fact that deserving black peers got snubbed once again.

Once Denzel didn’t win for Malcolm x I knew what time it was

But he played a beast in training day

and I woulda gave Halle that Oscar off the sex scenes alone.

I did not like the movie at all... I mean, it was great acting... and extremely disturbing... but I can see a lot of people relating to it. It was very, very dark...but isn't that what the joker was about? isn't that what most villains are about? they all were normal.. or trying to live in a normal world, but continued to be fucked over, shitted on, passed over, pushed down..until..... and we ALL have or will be there at one point in our lives.... we get to that fork in the road...and we make a choice...some might argue, that the choice was already made..were just playing out the details...but what ever it is we get to that fork.. and if we go one way...we pull ourselves up and try to rise above it... get through it...or we take the other road...where something snaps and the series of unfortunate events start to snow ball and when your at the bottom of that hill... you have a carnage path that you have carved. And in some ways...that never was your intent.... hell after that reflection, i might have to go back and watch it again

ADOS muthafuckas are going to have mass suicides.:roflmao:

Already got word from Fuck Boy Associated.

Barack & Michelle Obama’s Netflix Doc Just Received An Oscar Nomination

Joker was easily the best movie of 2019.

[Spoiler warning. Spoiler warning. Spoiler warning]

They took the superhero movie, stripped away all the gadgets, special effects and blurred the lines between good and evil. By focusing on character and story they showed that this genre could be far more dimensional then just a simple popcorn flick.

The Joker is the incel folk hero that all incels been waiting for.

I can't agree with you here. Incels feel that they are entitled to sex and are angry at women who don't give it to them. That doesn't describe this joker at all.

Yes, it is creepy that he follows his hot neighbor around, but it seems a lot more awkward than predatory or spiteful. He gets upset when she rejects him, but he doesn't take it out on her. Instead he forgets about it and moves on with his life.

The only woman he harms in this movie is his mother. but that was because she used lies and manipulation to gain his financial support and have him wait on her hand and foot. Without her dominating his life Arthur could have used his money to get proper mental health treatment and used his time to develop a circle of real friends. he didn't kill her because she was an evil woman, he killed her because she was an evil parent.

How? The Joker was so mentally disturbed sex wasn’t even on his mind. He just wanted a woman to care about him. Anybody basically it’s why he saved the midget. He was nice to him.

Joker is overrated as fuck.
IT WAS A GOOD MOVIE, but doesn't deserve all of the hype it has gotten.
I thought Parasite was a much better written and more thought-provoking movie.
I mean, how many times can Hollywood remake Taxi Driver and call it something else?
Crazy man is crazy. The world kicks crazy man in the balls. Crazy man's world slowly unravels. Crazy man does some crazy shit. That's not new.
The movie would have come out anyway and would have been titled something else if superhero movies weren't the biggest thing selling right now. The movie could have been in Detroit instead of Gotham and would have been the same thing for the most part.
It will probably win, though. Then they will off Joaquin or he will O.D. and there will be the curse of the Joker role in Hollywood, yadda, yadda, yadda, etc. Well, maybe not, but the movie was good but not mind-blowing.

I've seen all of those besides Marriage Story and Little Women

I'm good on Little Women

If JOKER was the best movie of 2019 then there were some shit movies that came out in 2019.

I liked the movie but it just was overhyped in a major way. I just watched it a second time and again I don't see the fascination. It is a good movie but damn the hype surrounding this movie... unreal

You never been depressed or lied too or been shitted on.

thank god your life and family does well.

I’m watching Joker now
it's called life

most regular people shrug it off and move on

you weirdos break into chicks house and have fantasy relationships and dance like fags on a dirty abandoned steps

movie is beyond ass.. Juss cause you play slow piano music and make sad faces don't mean it's a good movie... Boo oo this hot trash

JOKER wasn't all that, it was just okay, nothing too complicated, just happen come out at the right time. Still in shock it was such a huge hit but hey there are so many Arthur Flecks out here of all races.

iconic badguy... Simple makeup... Is a human.. A person that does whatever he wants... Cacs want to live freely to do whatever they want without any repercussion therefore a joker is a figure they would like
Exactly. And Harley is the same: Smart, pretty bitch who was a doctor who acts like a child with no restraint. So many chicks want to be that. If women could run around bashing dudes with baseball bats and stealing anything they want without repercussions, you know they would.
A lot of CACs just want to be reckless.

Yea.. fuck that film. And the only to women i saw implicitly murdered in it were black women.

That guy was a fucking loser and went around blaming everyone instead of owning his shit.

lol 1 of my Dominican friends who always called me a racist towards cacs was like I prob started hating the movie as soon as the weirdo cac just walked up to the black chick and just kissed her with ease... Lmao I disliked it b4 that scene but when I saw that crap I was like what kind of fuckery is this, are they trying to say this gay retarded Nig could get her with ease, I literally was like this got to be some kind of dream sequence... Which eventually it was proven it was

by the way he never actually killed shorty... The director even came out and said it

Those directors are full of shit. The presumption given to the viewer was that he killed her. They also tried to say the character was acting by a code of some sort but then contradicted that when its implied that he killed the shrink in arkham at the end. The subliminal messages are there.

Also, alot of this movie was poorly edited and passed off as artistic directing and purposely ambiguous writing.

there's actually a edited scene that clearly shows she alive and she witness the joker on tv killing the host... Claims it didn't make the final cut cause the whole movie was from his pov and that would of through off that concept.. I actually seen the edit scene... I never thought he killed her in the first place cause it wouldn't have made sense... In fact him not killing her made her whole character pointless and actually useless filler to this long pointless story.. 99 percent of her scene presence was a figment of his imagination which means it was an added filler to keep you semi interested in that crap fest of a movie... The more I talk about this movie to people the more shittier they realize this movie was...mission accomplished

I've had the bootleg at least since November and haven't watched it yet.
if you watch this movie with the mentality that the name of the movie is called " crazy" and not the "joker" you will be like this crap should've been a straight to Netflix movie on a low budget to be a filler for their portfolio of movies... Lot of people are dc and joker fans so they being bias to overhyping this crap... It's like Batman vs superman people didn't want to insult that shitty movie cause of its iconic figures but eventually had to come to grips that it was a wack movie in time people will realize the same for the joker.. Like I said the more I talk to people about this click the more they see the flick was dumb.. I'm not even going to go into the last 30 mins of the greatest streak of coincidences ever to try to wrap this movie up.. Coincidence and lack of human logic that was all put together for him to do the finale... It was like wait none of this could happen on a person luckiest day but joker did it all... Getting hit by cars and shaking the pain off, catching trains on time, being in a car full of clowns, having people wrestle people with guns, having zero notification a killer is on the loose, making it on time for a tv show, no rehearsal, no pat downs, allowing dialogue to go on for long, no security..man wtf no way all these coincedences should be allowed and justified
