i`ll take that any day over rivers slightly better numbers...ask any chargers fan that ...

is that u d-town..?

"SLIGHTLY???" OK it's obvious you're just a fan of his because those are not "slightly" better by most people's standards but it's cool. Agree to disagree.

Uhhhh... No, not even close. Just don't see anything special about Eli. He's started forever, in a passing league, and never once has anyone though of him as elite but his diehard fans. He's the great compiler. The Jason Whitten of QBs. Be above avg long enough and you'll rack up stats. Doesn't make you special or great though.

n ur obviously not...lol..

in all seriousness ...u even hear nfl players talk about it...

u know how hard it is to play at that level and to have that kinda success ?

shit to make it thru the playoffs & then win the super bowl...r u kidding me...?

ur trying to down play that man`s accomplishment like thats just some everyday shit & any QB in the league can do it...

bro the man is top ten...fuck the chips...top ten in a very hard position to play...probably the hardest in pro sports...

u cant b serious...

but like u said...all good...we will agree to disagree...

At 33, if Jay Cutler has 3-4 more avg years by his standards he will also be in the top 10 of the same catagories you're holding up as HOF worthy???........... Go have a look. Jay came into the league in 06 sat most of his first year and is top 40 in all those catagories. Another 2 avg years and hes top 20... Jay... Fucking Cutler... Numbers mean nothing when for most of the leagues existence it wasn't a passing league. It's a reasonable expectation that if Cutler plays into his late 30s he will firmly be in the top 10 of all pertinent passing catagories... That means by your standards Jay... Fucking Cutler is on pace for a HOF career............ See how little numbers actually mean???:hmm:

Rivers not making the HOF. If they let him in, they'll have to let in guys like Dalton and Stafford...Stafford is on pace to be the all-time passing yardage leader. Rivers just have a bunch of hollow stats. Has he ever won a significant game?

Keep hating, when you put numbers with rings, you are in the discussion.

 The Giants aren't even a rival. I don't hate the Giants or Eli. I'm simply saying he's not that dude, nor has he ever been. He's above avg, he's stayed healthy, and he's been lucky enough to be on teams that had all-time great defenses that he rode to championships. In fact to no one but Giant fans is he better than above avg. Never once has he been a top 5 QB in the league. NEVER!!! So yeah, he'll get in. But he wasn't a great QB, he also won't be the only decent QB that played forever that racks up "numbers."
