man people have to start suing these fucked up districts

what was he suspended for?

Why was he suspended four days?

Because the CAC system sees itself as god and of course we've
all heard GOD is a vengeful, jealous GOD thus in God complex
fashion instead of educate they terminate or suspend that
which they feels a threat to their power.

I bet they taught him that Freedom of speech is an inalienable
right for all Americans except him.:smh:

Damn times have changed. Shouldn't have been suspended but put in detention or something. (If they still do that) Plus his parent(s) should've punished him for doing stupid ass shit in school.

It actually has gotten that deep in schools, a friend's son was suspended for three days for drawing a symbol that he saw on the internet on his scrap paper for a math test, the school said that the symbol represented gang insignia, while it actually did, the kid is neither a member and the gang in question has no presence here in NY, but nevertheless it's a mark on his... permanent record.

The school suspended him basically for oppositional defiance. Squashing something that could be seen as creative. The # 1 lesson the school is teaching him is how to be a good employee/worker bee.

MOTHERFUCKER PLEASE

ain't no way I would let that fly if I was his parent. There's just no way you're going to keep my child out of school for 4 days over a tweet.. and there's no way you're going to make him delete something from his personal account.

Listen, students don't give a fuck about tests that don't do anything for their grades, colleges, or graduation status.
Its been the problem with schools even when I was in them. I would've been suspended for 100 days if they looked at my scantron when we had those random ass testing days that did NOTHING and meant NOTHING which we didn't even get the results for.
either every answer was c or i did a, b, c, c, b, a. and you know why? cause it was a waste of time..
take time away from real learning
then make them take this meaningless test
in order to get funds...
how about you just give the school the funds because every school deserves them, not based on test scores that don't show anything about how many kids actually get school work or are headed to college or ANY OF THAT

straight up bullshit

Yeah some teachers i know are hot about this and are working on doing something about it. But this is just another example of how the system is against you. Period.

As others said it's an acronym for "You Only Live Once". It's less sophisticated way of saying "Carpe diem" (i.e. Latin for seize the day).

In more than one instance YOLO has been texted or tweeted minutes or hours before someone proceeded to wrap there car around a stationary object at high speed. Thus, bringing their life to an abrupt end, proving that you do only live once. YOLO is code word for "I'm about to do something stupid for the sake of the social networks".

It's almost like screaming "safe sex" before going raw dog at a Brazilian orgy.

Yea all that is good, except that YOLO is a lie. We live everyday, most of us for decades. We only die once

They do not want black kids in the classroom......so they find any and every avenue to get rid of them.....

must call the racism out..

If that kid wrote that on an exam he doesn't belong in the classroom.

Typical school system instead of punishing him with a 6 page book report on war and peace they suspend him..

The suspension wasn't for YOLO, but for tweeting the picture of a test booklet. Excessive? I think so too. But let's at least be clear on the basis of the infraction. Test security is serious business. Muhfucking administrators getting indicted and shit behind these standardized test.
