If you want to get the gamey flavor out of the meat, you are going to have give them feed in an enclosure for a couple of months at least until they calm down. Your presence causes them to taint their meat with adrenaline and lactic acid, versus livestock.
I noticed the women when I am in their bedroom unexpected for the first time, they start producing alot of adrenalin and lactic acid, fight or flight. It gives their pussy a gamey flavor. This is why I calmly talk to them and try to relax them for an hour before sticking my stuff into her.

I get that these hogs are a pest but those rednecks seemed a bit too eager and happy about gunning down unarmed creatures for me not find it disturbing. I'll bet if Texas passed a law that allows the same treatment of illegals crossing the border they'd be just as excited.
