Hidden Conversations is the follow up to Terrys last album Lookin Out.
Following Terrys performance at last years Meltdown Festival (curated by Massive Attack), Terry has once again hooked up with the British trip hop trio. On Hidden Conversations Massive Attacks Robert Del Naja co-wrote Wings and John Lee Hooker and exclusively wrote Live With Me. The collaboration of Massive Attacks haunting production and Terrys beautiful, emotive vocals is quite simply, stunning.

On Hidden Conversations all the other songs were exclusively written by Terry himself. This new electronic edge complements Terrys style perfectly and offers a new direction that will appeal to fans both old and new. Hidden Conversations is as innovative and compelling as ever.

haven't heard much of his newer stuff but back in the 70s this brother was on his shyt. "ordinary joe" "african violet" day of the greys---yep the same greys many conspiracy cats talk about, lol. He was on some deep shyt.

"Afro American........we're only Pilgrims here" the lyrics went something like that on "african violet" haven't listened in a while. dude talked about trips to space, reptilians, etc.....he did some smooth writing also. happy to see he's still alive and touring. here he's pretty popular overseas. many political artist of the 70s got drugged out like gil scott heron, sly from sly and the family stone.

the dude is so talented I just cant believe I never heard of him before this
i opened this page like 3 days ago and left it open because I was gonna comeback and see who this terry callier was and almost didnt get to it :smh:
