A teenager was pursued driving over 100 miles per hour before this frightening crash. Police in Humberside, England, released video of a high-speed chase through the East Yorkshire countryside. They say a 19-year-old, behind the wheel of a Ford Fiesta, took a joy ride that could have taken lives. A swerve at the wrong time sent this compact car slamming into a 29-ton truck, then ricocheting back off of the police car.

I had some special needs person take a Tesla going 150 mph try to time himself on some exit that I normally take to pick up some food before work. If I had turned into that lane I would have been dead. Blind spot monitor or visually scanning the road would have done no good.

With more and more cars having 2 second 0-60 times, the government needs to warn people. Only exotic cars that were rarely driven had this type of acceleration. You need to be watching the road, I was over relying on the blind spot monitor.

This happened at night, I am pretty sure you are safer during rush hour but don't quote me. These special needs person are the real cause of murder and crime in a city.
