My moms is 80yrs old, 1st generation american, who missed the tech curve intentionally... now she realizes how much she needs it.

I set up internet service for her for the 1st time initually to use the fire stick but the service comes with phone service & now im trying to teach her about the difference btwn a land line & internet phine service.
But im happy she wants to learn....

That's good man. My Pops is 80+ and he's on facebook, email and still texts occasionally. The funny thing is he prefers to use the voice to text option for a lot of responses because to him its similar to the old dictation machines he used to use in his job.

It's great that you're helping your mom get up to date on tech. My dad stays asking me to help him with his android and he's 58. My older brother keeps telling me I should be more patient.
