Could ya'll recommend a site where I could get a quality gaming PC desktop just about $500/$600?

new, refurb, etc don't matter.

If that is even possible?

Thanks

peace.

For that budget you are going to find very low spec machines and more than likely used.
Realistically a good entry level gaming computer with up to date specs will be North of $1000.

If you're looking for a deal, check FB marketplace or Craigslist and try to find a tower with components no more than 5 years old. Pay attention to the GPU and CPU combo because that will determine the performance of your machine and the ability to play certain games smoothly.

I personally would look to building my own PC but I will warn you that prices for GPUs have skyrocketed. The motherboard and CPUs can be had for under $400. RAM isn't terribly expensive. Power Supplies are affordable. Cases all look alike so you can choose whether you want the tempered glass RGB setup or just a plain tower.

Use this site here for estimating prices:

If you have anymore questions, let me know. This is my arena. Also let me know what you intend to run.

Also....let me not forget:
AMD vs Intel CPUs. Intel chips cost a lot more and become obsolete a lot sooner than AMD. I personally use AMD because they are the best bang for buck and their motherboard socket is supported longer.

NVidia vs AMD Graphics cards: Nvidia is the leader since they support Ray Tracing, usually have better driver support and good performance but they will cost you more. You can find a comparable card from AMD but Nvidia's Ray Tracing is better and more developed. You don't necessarily have to use Ray Tracing but if you like details and lighting in games like Cyberpunk 2077 it's just eye candy.
