Good info homey. Tavis has always been on point. I guess BET releasing him was the beginning of their demise.

Thanks for the remainder, I'm checking it out now.Keep informing the rest of the brothers about the event.

I have an issue with it...

why do we constantly broadcast our issues on national television?

Its not a case of being embarrassed but the idea that we are constantly giving those who are actively working against us updates and inside info on what we're thinking?

Do jews broadcast their meetings and air their issues for public consumption?
Have you seen asians or hispanics hold televised conferences addressing the issues of their people?

Other ethnic groups handle their issues in private community meetings in their churchs and synagages and town halls and don't show it on television. You'd be seriously mistaken if you think that jews don't have or discuss issues among themselves..

I think we need to stop putting our issues on front street and start holding them in churches and meeting halls in our communities.

The obvious answer to that question is because through television the messages presented reaches a larger audience, but you deserve more.

Who goes to meeting halls & Churches? Answer: generally those already with an understanding (not always an answer but an understanding) of the problems that afflict the black community. Without the acceptance of the masses their opinions reach no one. Television gives those with the loudest voices in the Black community an opportunity to be heard.

With the divisions that are emerging between the classes of AA's, I think some see it as critical that a unified consensus is reached sooner rather than later. This can only happen through open dialog.

Who cares what other groups do or think for that matter?
