I watched the whole thing and kept waiting to hear ZaZa Ali, but instead got Feminista Jones. Pretty much her defense was:
1. ZaZa deliberately misstates the issue by saying Tariq called out "conscious community". Bullshit! He called out the "fake conscious community". Then she starts naming well-known conscious organizations and individuals in an attempt to start a campaign against Tariq. That is 100% COINTelPro tactics!!!
2. Playing the victim instead holding herself accountable for publicly attacking Tariq rather than speaking with him personally.
3. Repeated contradictions: She and Griff couldn't call Tariq because they don't have his number but she claim to to have close friendships with most of the people in his Hidden Colors movies. She couldn't get Tariq's number from one of them?
4. Implying she had dirt on Tariq but failing to produce it out of principle. That's the same McCarthyism tactics the FBI uses! When a person public claims they have dirt on you but doesn't produce it, that is the definition of character assassination. You cant defend yourself against secret negative innuendos.
5. Shen NEVER admitted the she did commit wrongdoing in her conviction and was cooperating with the Feds, which is the basis of EVERY plea deal and/or reduce sentencing guideline.
6. Twice she said she taught boys for 3+ years, "for free". Funny how her probation was also 3 years. Was this court-ordered community service? If so, how do you take bow?
7. She said a "white guy" got her into the bank fraud scheme then suddenly skips years ahead into their "relationship" and her indictment. "Relationship"? Exactly what kind of "relationship" was it?
8. She constantly attacks Tariq for shit people posted on her page, as if he's responsible for what strangers do and say. That is a straw-man argument!
9. She says she's in the "conscious game" but then catches herself and blames Tariq for her own words. WTF?
10. She implies Jason Black is a nobody who was low-key jocking her. Again, more Black Feminists antics.
11. Tariq gave specific examples of him giving financial support to our elders, like Doc Ben. He also helped Dr. Welsing when she was facing eviction. What specifically has Griff & ZaZa done for these elders besides photo ops?
12. This is to Griff. What man sends his woman to fight/argue with another man? Even if she wants to do it you DO NOT let her! And, if she does it anyway then she is disrespecting him! Sending ZaZa out, seems to me, is a tactic to lure Tariq into a charge of woman-hating and misogyny--which is what the Black Feminists have been doing for years. Is Griff now a Black Feminist?
