what will goodell do fine him suspend him for talking shit because that is all T O ever does it talk shit. The media says he is a bad teammate most of the players he has played with have come out and said he was good in the locker room.

you know the nfl is alot of politics now too. but i know nothing can be done now but i'm just saying one slip and Goodell will be all over the guy.
 
I think the suspension is just to give PETA it's pound of flesh. If they picket a stadium Vick is playing in after this they need to be shot.

maybe or maybe not. we pretty much know if for some reason anything happen during the season (i.e. losses, or demanding better play from team mates) the media will put a spin on it to blame t. o. like always and i don't think another team will give him a shot. but i'm just saying i expect some shit like how they did coach boone in remember the titans. if he would have lost a game that season those white people were going to fire him. i just hope once they start putting the pressure on him he don't buckle. is this the first that a player has went up against Goodell? does anyone know?

T.O. is the type of dude that will throw Mike Vick under the bus when he gets the chance to. Who needs folks like that coming to your defense.

With that said, T.O should shut up and play.He rarely has anything profound to say...so I say he is wasting his breath when he holds his fake ass press conferences.

Is he entertaining? Only if you think the NFL should be more like "General Hospital" or "Days of our Lives".

His mouth overshadows and takes away from his ability on the field. This may or may not serve him well after his prime when what his does on the field isn't worth mentioning, but what he says off the field continues to get the headlines.

If this was the typical type of speaking out T.O. did, I never would have dissed the man.

But no, this comment is more of an "incidental" meeting of the minds for me and T.O. Just because dude agrees with me doesn't mean suddenly he gets my respect after all that other bullshit.

Don't get into that "I respect this guy because he agrees with me" thing, that is one of the most dangerous mentalities in the world. In fact, it played a large part in Vick surrounding himself with low class yes-men and leeches.

But I will give T.O. credit for telling the truth on this when no one else did. It's a sub sub subculture, dogfighting.

Roddy White wore a "free Mike Vick" tee shirt or something like that. Alge Crumpler visited him I think. Coach Reeves has said he should be allowed back, and Arthur Blank has supported his reinstatement... and frankly, nobody had more reason to hold a grudge against Vick than Arthur Blank.
 
This is why I'm a big T.O. fan. Dude says what he feels and is always honest about it. He doesn't stand up there smiling and grinning for the cameras while saying what everybody wants to hear. He's about as genuine as they come. Folks can say a lotta shit about T.O., but they can't call him a liar. ​

Players need to start sticking together more and stop letting the NFL treat them like slaves. From OTA's, to the pay structure, to player suspensions the NFLPA has been a joke.
