He wrote, produced, and directed the pilot. Feels a lot like Supernatural but with a Black family.

Anybody catch the premiere last night? Syfy put it up on youtube.

I thought it was decent. It's kinda like that supernatural spinoff they wanted to do but it got brushed. I'll stick with this show as long as they make it. Mario van peebles is a damn vampire. When was the last time he aged?

Baadasssss! is a 2003 American biopic, written, produced, directed by, and starring Mario Van Peebles. The film is based on the struggles of Van Peebles' father Melvin Van Peebles (played by Mario himself), as he attempts to film and distribute Sweet Sweetback's Baadasssss Song, a film that was widely credited with showing Hollywood that a viable African-American audience existed, and thus influencing the creation of the Blaxploitation genre. The film also stars Joy Bryant, Nia Long, Ossie Davis, Paul Rodriguez, Rainn Wilson, and Terry Crews.

I like the show!

WHO THE FUCK was the chick playing the siren in episode 3? When she came out of the pool w/ the big round ass and turned around w/ those large hanging titties, I wanted to say some shit out loud but my wife was right by me.

My mother told me about this show, I watched a couple of episodes.
I like what I have seen so far. I probably will binge watched this weekend.

I'm cutting a bunch of shows off but I will check this.

Fam to be honest with you I wouldn’t.. even if it got renewed. Even if it got decent ratings... because to Syfy.. ratings mean shit. It’s all about production costs. The only way a Syfy show has a chance is either it’s completely produced by Syfy or a Canadian company is fronting 70 to 80 percent of the costs.
