Yeah, something going been around. I got sick after I got back home from Detroit after Thanksgiving. Talking to mom who went to Jamaica for Christmas, she was down there sick with some flu like symptoms. My oldest daughter got something last week. I haven't had a cold in like over 10 years. It felt like a cold to me, but I did get my flu shot so maybe it worked to lessen the symptoms.
Know a chick that had it 2-3 weeks ago… she said she was puking up a storm for about 3 days with a high fever
Wife wanted to go to Niagra Falls for our anniversary. Not a good idea getting on a plane right now.
They claim my son died from that, but I simply don’t believe it.

My condolences. The flu does kill.
When 45 was 44 he told folks false information that got a whole lot of people killed. People who didn't have to die. All they had to do was social distance and practice proper hygiene. This time around 45 killed off the agencies that are supposed to monitor infectious diseases and their impact on the denizens of the USA. No more warnings or alerts this. Y'all fuck around if y'all want to. I am wearing a mask on public transportation and in stores.

I've been wearing my mask every since covid-19 started.
I got my flu shot as well.
I was sick like a dog catching that shit from my father who got his flu shot at the time but caught the flu as well and sometimes he's hard headed not willing to wear his mask but he's been wearing his mask every since.
When I went to the hospital, I tested negative for everything with them telling me I had a common cold which seem weird because I was coughing, high fever, chills, and was weak as fuck. They gave me some pills and told me to drink some tea and plenty of water along with rest. I've been fine every since way better than I was before.
This is the reason why I don't like being around nobody nor partying with no one and I'm staying in the house on new years which is about to be a few hours from now until the ball drops bringing in 2026.

Don't get it fuzzy. When I say I party with family. The place is jumping & bumping with family members most years. This year we're not having a party. My niece and nephew are here spending a few weeks. And my cousin came by a few minutes ago. He's sipping sorrel and I'm drinking Wray & Nephew.

Yeah my whole family got it and my ear fucked up.
Felt like I had it last week. Literally slept 16 hours one day I felt so bad.
Guys, I just want to say thank you for the kind words. I never thought I would need this board for comfort from such a loss, but at this time those words really mean a lot. Again, thank you.

But this one caught me. Started with an ear ache and swollen lymph nodes, I'm on the tail end of it now.
The way it's hitting everyone at the same time is odd af, almost orchestrated.
