No playing after huddle breaks</font size>
BATON ROUGE, La. -- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has
reprimanded both the Grambling State and Prairie View marching
bands for playing after an offensive team broke its huddle and
headed toward the line of scrimmage.
A news release says both the referee and the public address
announcer at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas asked both bands to stop
playing at those times.
It says a second violation by either band would mean a one-game
suspension for that band, and a third would keep them off the field
and out of the stands for the rest of the season.
