I think what he said here was okay. I personally believe in Evolution but there is some question about that. Evolution is a theory in reality and in some ways unproven though scientifically sound. I don't like the contention that god could not have created evolution.
I do think Steve harvey says off the wall stuff when he is trying to be funny and creates awkward situtions sometimes but he may be a good addition to the show.
I actually like steve harvey but i gotta say that shit was just plain dumb. seriously why is it ok for people in the black community to say some dumb shit as long as its in defense of religion.

As far as his atheist argument: He's an idiot. Non-religious people have moral barometers and ethics. Maybe he should ask the million of prisoners who mostly identify with Christianity instead of attacking something he does not understand.

He makes a good argument Atheist are foolish. Sure they have morals and ethics but are they smart enough to see the wisdom in beliving in something larger than themselves? Can they see how religion is one of the only ways to propagate tradition and self binding codes of conduct from generation to generation? Atheist dont see past the fact religion has a lot of negative with it. They cannot see that anything with power has negative with it including guns drugs, politicians etc.

When you truly step back and see the whle universe for what it is, you realize all this tradition and propagation of certain ideals and "common sense", and "wisdom of the ancients" actually holds us back from what we can be accomplishing.
Everyone thinks they are right. Everyone thinks the have the only truth. The belief that because God made the world and only He can destroy it no matter what we do leads people to flood the world with greenhouse gasses and bring about climate change and possible self extinction...
i quit listening to him when a woman wrote his show complaining about her boyfriend beating her ass, and he ripped the dude. (u know how they are on that show) I was sitting there thinking, damn, this dude is taking the hypocritic oath on national radio
