St. Louis news station apologizes after anchor described minority homeowners as 'colored' on-air

The KMOV anchor apologized the next day for using the "outdated racial term." But the National Association of Black Journalists questioned the station's editorial process.

the station's apology was even worse. They claimed an old script made it to the air prompter. Of course the question becomes, why was "colored" used in any version of the script?
