Americans don't have da balls.
Was expecting to see a large crowd of people chasing him...
Basically, they took out a platinum credit card (figuratively speaking of course) maxed it out then said fuck you to the lenders, now they are running out of money with no one to turn to.
Folks really need to understand how sovereign credit rating works and why failing to pay back the money they borrowed could leave your country fucked up and poor like Venezuela, oh and the fucked up thing about it, is no one is going to save or feel sorry for your people when it happens.
Since the beginning of time kings, prime ministers, presidents, dictators, and every other type of politician has done the same thing. Running up a huge debt and then leaving their subjects holding an empty bag.
This is why when you hear people talk about tearing down the system, the first question should be what and how will the new system look like. When they respond (and they always respond this way) we will deal with it when it happens, this is the signal that they are A- way over their heads, or B- planning on grabbing the bag and leaving the rest of the people high and dry.
