why was only one of the men in the house arrested?
possible scenario- the mother's estate was contested and someone rented out the property w/o having ownership
now with the estate settled - and a desire to sell fast - daughter tries a short cut that will now cost her thousands of dollars
and at least a year in court and heaven help her if that white boy can prove any type of harassment
in nyc even if there is no lease -tenancy defaults to a month to month lease after 28 days and eviction requires a court order
for the cops to not arrest or kick out the white boy means he showed a lease or rent receipts and or utility bills
and by changing the locks this lady guaranteed she won't get the house anytime soon and now may have to pay this guy to leave
peep this from a couple weeks ago
after watching this - if you understand that one can't get a mortgage and close in nys without an inspection - you'll know at the very least the new owner is lying and there is much more going on than they are telling

The renter or tenant has more rights than the landlord/owner
Went through something like this recently
Man wasn’t paying rent and moved his girlfriend in. I tried to have them evicted. She called police and told them he hit her. He got put out with a restraining order. She got to stay even though she had no lease and no intention of paying rent. Was in the process of eviction however the tenant in the next apartment called saying they hadn’t seen her and mail was piling up. Police came and found he dead in the bed surrounded by liquor bottles
That is such bullshit...if her name is on the deed and the squatter isn't paying her under a contract..he needs to get the fuck...that law is pure bs.
No bullshit I used to worry about this at my shore house during the winter months. I very rarely stay there it is my spot to take the kids and hit the beach in the summer. I refuse to do the winter rental thing just for the fact I dont want to have to go to court and deal with the bs. I can totally understand this lady frustration. Its fucked up as home owner anyone can break in your shit and call it home and there is nothing you can do about it.

3 months after that FBI comes around looking for the tenant
the video was staged as in the scheduling of- getting abc7 on site and then getting a mystery woman to arrive and open the door (owner was never really locked out...)
all while owner put on a song and dance for the camera
then after changing the locks the owner and abc7 crew wait around for the primary tenant to show

The people who do this illegal shit know that the law is going to be on their side for a time. But as a homeowner, the law is going to just run up in you while your home is being violated. This is not progress... this is liberal bullshit.
So to balance everything out... examples have to be made. I'm not saying that I'm going to make them. But those squatters will be leaving my shit quick, fast, and in a hurry.
Just because something is law doesn't mean that it's right.
Time to show up to the house in the “strangers mask” with a bunch of sharp tools and terrorize who ever wants to sleep there at night.. go O the butcher and collect some animal blood and throw buckets of that shit on the people as a warning… lot of strange noises at night with infrared beams going through windows
