WWE just announced after a three-year suspension Hulk Hogan has been reinstated into the WWEHall of Fame. Below is WWE's full announcement:



"After a three-year suspension, Hulk Hogan has been reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame. This second chance follows Hogan's numerous public apologies and volunteering to work with young people, where he is helping them learn from his mistake. These efforts led to a recent induction into the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Alumni Hall of Fame."


It's been well documented WWE has been keeping a close eye on the reactions to Hulk Hogan's recent appearances at events like the Boys & Girls Club HOF and the Andre the Giant Documentary Premiere to see how he's been received.

Hogan hasn't appeared for WWE since being fired by the company in 2015 shortly before a tape containing him making racist remarks was made public. Hogan, who was upset with his daughter Brooke dating a black man, used the n-word several times in the tape and said, "I guess we're all a little racist."

Last month in an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Hogan said talks with joining up with WWE were moving along.

"Things are moving in that direction quite quickly," Hogan said. "It's all about execution and timing and the right place and the right time, but things are good."

WWE Hall Of Fame is now over and he was backstage at Extreme Rules where he spoke to the WWE locker room. This was also recorded by a WWE Network crew for a future documentary.

Mark Henry spoke to Busted Open Radio about Hogan's return to the WWE fold. Henry said he spoke to Hogan about how he's willing to make things right. Hogan has been working to address these issues and talking to the locker room was a big first step Henry was hoping for.

"The first thing I thought was I'm hoping he is able to address everybody and voice some concerns. He made an announcement. He apologized. He's done a lot of stuff with the Boys And Girls Club. But I didn't want to lose track of the fact that there's more work to be done and I think that's going to happen."

Henry was asked if he feels Hogan is willing to go through the steps needed in order to reconcile and put the situation surrounding his suspension behind him. He was positive about the efforts Hogan is willing to go through in order to fix things.

"Yes, and when talking to him yesterday he's willing to. I was very optimistic after talking to him. He's like, 'Mark I'll do whatever. Because I want people to see my heart not what I said anymore. It's an embarrassing thing. I go places and I see people giving me a look I'm not used to getting and it's been that way since that time.' He said, 'I can't live with it like that. I gotta fix it.' And I was like, 'great, you're willing to fix it? I'm willing to help.'"

Forget history, the WWE hall of fame includes Donald Trump. A man who has made way more racist statements in public than anything Hogan said in private.

That said, my oldest is 18 now and I don't give a shit what race of man she dates.

Oh I know that. Been watching wrestling for years. It's a gimmick and they do add race to their storylines. Not saying that's fine, but it's acting. That's the only thing that separates the two. WWE is we entertainment, though most of us will not agree with how they portray it. But this is Hulk just being straight up racist. Not in character.

his true feelings came out and he got caught plain and simple

Yeah, people can be cool with other groups until shit hits home. Folks might have white friends, but damn if their daughter brings home a white man. Christians can be all loving Muslims from a distance, but wait until the daughter marries one. It is what it fucking is and people should be honest with themselves instead of being fake.

Fuck him, but I'm for separating what people do in their profession to private convos that are recorded(social media is a different animal, you should own that when you post). Shit won't stop with race. What if a black wrestler/entertainer/athlete is recorded in private while making comments about homosexuals? Should that impact what they accomplished in their profession? I say no.

And I'm not surprised by anything a cac says in private so wasn't a shock to me.

I feel you. I'm white, but if Trump and his people get their way I won't be white for much longer. The crazy part about passing is that as much as you want to fit in with the people who look like you it's only a matter of time before someone pulls your race card.
 
I don't care about being in their Hall of Fame, since only one person (Vince McMahon) decides who goes in and who doesn't. Hulk Hogan has always been a piece of shit.

Back in the 80s Hogan was the shit. I didn’t see color then. But He and Mr T was wrecking heads in the ring. We were so inspired that We use to have wrestling matches on the weekends in backyards. But Hogan is just like any other redneck.
